WHAT IS FOREX TRADING?
Forex trading is the simultaneous act of buying one currency while selling another. The combination of these two currencies make up what’s known as a currency pair. Currencies are always traded in pairs, and each currency in a pair is represented by a unique three-letter code.
What does this mean in simple terms?
Imagine you go on holiday and you exchanged £100 and received €120. You then didn’t use the €120 whilst you were away on holiday, so you then changed that €120 back to GBP £. Whilst you were away, the exchange rate changed slightly and you then received £105 back for your €120, you have made £5 profit. This is what we do on a daily basis, trade one currency pair against another online on the live FX markets creating profits for ourselves.
